The conference will be held from 27. April to 29. April 2006 in Vienna.
On the day before and the day after the conference there are
additional program items and events open to the public.
Open Events
To include a wider audience and to disperse the knowledge of Kurt Gödel's
achievements, some events are open to the public and free to
participate for everyone:
- Opening Ceremony on 26 April
The conference and the exhibition
will be opened with a special ceremony.

Gödel's Century
Throughout the symposium, there will be an exhibition on Gödel
by Karl Sigmund and John W. Dawson.
- Public lecture by Roger Penrose 29 April
Saturday evening there will be a public lecture by
Roger
Penrose, world famous scientist and writer of the The Emperor's New Mind,
in the Golden Festival Room of the
Vienna City Hall.

The Kurt Gödel Centenary: Horizons of Truth organizers and sponsors
invite young scholars of logic, mathematics, physics, philosophy, computer
science and theology to project submissions for young scholars' competition
honoring Kurt Gödels hundredth birthday.
