The workshop takes place in TU-Wien Gußhausstrasse 27-29 in the Glass Building.

Local Transport

There are many ways how to get here but it seems to be convenient to use U-Bahn system (Subway, Underground, Tube) to Taubstummengasse or Karlsplatz stations.

Tickets:

A daily ticket in Vienna costs 5.7 euro and works for 24 hours from the moment you stamped it. A one way ticket costs 1.8 euro. 72 hours ticket costs 13.6 euro.

Tickets are available at ticket machines at most underground stations or at points of advance sale. Tobacconists also sell tickets. You may also purchase a ticket on board the bus or tram at an increased rate of 2.20 euro per ticket. More information about prices.

If you like to see suburbs of Vienna or cities nearby, most probably you can go there by a bus that goes from the U-Bahn end station or you can also check oebb.at.

Restaurants

Of course, there are very many restaurants in Vienna, where you could get something to eat for lunch or dinner. Another option is to buy something at one of the numerous fast-food stalls in the city (they sell sausages, schnitzels, etc., which are actually pretty good).
