Public transport is very efficient in Vienna. A VOR ticket gives you unlimited access to all public transport in the city area of Vienna (this includes the area around the TU Wien Main Building - where the Workshop takes place). Tickets are sold in tobacco stores, but you can also buy them from ticket-machines, which are located in every subway station (working all the time, as long as the subway lines are open). There are many kinds of tickets, trying to give people as much flexibility as possible. Several possibilities are:

 Coming to Vienna.
The Workshop will be held in the Austrian capital, Vienna, one of the most popular destinations in Europe. Today, Vienna combines modern life style with the spirit of the past. Once the centre of the large Habsburg empire, Vienna has largely preserved its historic architecture. As a centre of musical life, the city is famous for its Opera House and Festivals. But Vienna is also an important European hub that houses several international organisations and it has become even more important since the opening of the East. For more details, see the Touristic Info below.
