Go is a strategic board game originated in Asia. Up to now available Go Computer Programs have not yet managed to become a serious competitor for an average amateur player. This is due to the fact that imagination, intution and logical reasoning are all important skills for a serious Go player, whereas the (logical) skills needed for being a good Chess player can easily be simulated by a computer.
