Program

The conference will be held from 27. April to 29. April 2006 in Vienna. On the day before and the day after the conference there are additional program items and events open to the public.

To include a wider audience and to disperse the knowledge of Kurt Gödel's achievements, some events are open to the public and free to participate for everyone:

Scientific Program

The scientific program consists of
  • Invited speakers
    Many renowned scientists will give talks on a wide variety of topics related to Gödel and his work. Please consult this page for more details.
  • Poster Session
    The Kurt Gödel Centenary: Horizons of Truth organizers and sponsors invite poster submissions for the poster track of the Symposium.

  • Young Scholars' Competition The Kurt Gödel Centenary: Horizons of Truth organizers and sponsors invite young scholars of logic, mathematics, physics, philosophy, computer science and theology to project submissions for young scholars' competition honoring Kurt Gödels hundredth birthday.

  • Exhibition on Gödel Throughout the symposium, there will be an exhibition on Gödel by Karl Sigmund and John W. Dawson.
